How it works:
Adult Jewish Education provides students 18+ years who seek to expand their knowledge of Judaism the opportunity to work 1:1 with one of our seasoned educators. Through our Adult Education program, students choose the areas on which they’d like to focus, and may include:
Davening and Tefillah (prayers)
Learning how to chant Haftorah
Hebrew Reading/Language
Learning to read Torah to be able to do so at their child or grandchild’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah
Our team of enthusiastic and experienced educators truly enjoy working with adults – those who may not have had the opportunity to take on this responsibility as a child, as well as those adults who are Jewish by choice – to realize their dreams of becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. The OJL team provides guidance and support to all students throughout the process to ensure a meaningful experience.
