Convenient Jewish Education with Hebrew Class Online

Hebrew School at Home is the perfect fit for families who aren’t members of a synagogue, live far from their synagogue or have very busy schedules which make it difficult for their children to attend Hebrew school in-person several days each week. We understand that families have competing commitments which can often be challenging to navigate. This is why we created Hebrew School at Home – Hebrew classes online, a fun and convenient program that delivers substantive Jewish education to each student in the comfort of their own home (or remote location), and at a time that works best for them.

Our program incorporates tefilah (prayer), Hebrew language, Jewish history, and a discussion of the weekly parashah (Torah portions). After a thorough intake process, our educators will design a curriculum that is appropriate for each student, taking into consideration their prior Jewish education and ultimate goals, which often culminate in becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. OJL’s experienced educators engage students through 1:1 video conferencing instruction, and bring to life the exciting stories of our Jewish history and tradition. Hebrew School at Home makes learning fun and helps our students deepen their Jewish identity.

Unlike traditional, in-person Hebrew school classes, OJL’s Hebrew Class Online program is offered all year long and students have the opportunity to continue learning throughout the summer.
